San Miguel
de Allende:
Night Into Day

In October 2019 and September 2023, I visited San Miguel de Allende in Mexico with Santa Fe Workshops. Led by the master photographer and educator Sam Abell, our 2019 class concentrated mostly on night scenes of the prosperous and artistic town. In 2023, again with Sam Abell, we tried to capture the character of the place. These images, a combination of the two visits, move from the subdued tones of night to the harsh contrasts of day.
